Lisa Garmon
Lisa Garmon is a cultural transformer, thought leader, and author who specializes in climate and earth stability. Profiled as an “Influential Lioness” On her 2022 D.I.S.C.O. Assessment used with Fortune 500 executives, Lisa brings a unique blend of academic knowledge and spiritual wisdom to environmental challenges.
She holds an undergraduate degree in English and Biology and a Master’s degree in the art of Teaching (MAT) from Simmons College. Lisa was also invited to attend Yale University for a semester as an experimental co-education. Before focusing on climate work, she served as a wholistic health educator and sex educator, always maintaining her commitment to helping others grow and heal.
Lisa possesses what Ayurveda recognizes as “Support of Nature,” a rare spiritual gift that her coach at The Brave Thinking Institute, Dr. Kirsten Wells, identified as extraordinary compassion for all life. This gift extends to trees, birds, wildlife, and humanity alike. Dr. Wells, a Fellow at the Institute of Coaching at Harvard Medical School, helped Lisa understand and inspired Lisa to write this book.
A lifelong spiritual seeker, Lisa began her journey at age five with a deep desire to connect with God. At six, she spent an entire day in silent communion, sitting on a hilltop rock among birch trees where she believed she could connect with God Miracle for her parents load.
Married to the same man for almost fifty- five years, Lisa is a mother of two grown children and grandmother of two. She continues her daily practice of study, meditation, and prayer, hoping her miracle in her life will inspire others.
